Powering the 2014 Dodge Charger
Like any serious performance sedan, Charger is rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is available for winter traction. V6 and V8 engines are available. With the 370-horsepower 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and optional all-wheel drive, the Charger is a full-size family sedan with both strong performance and surprisingly thrifty EPA fuel economy, with an EPA-estimated 15/23 mpg City/Highway.
'14 Dodge Charger Design
This latest-generation Dodge Charger is immediately recognizable. The front says it's a Dodge. Continuing the street look, in profile, the car's dramatically low roofline tapers downward rapidly at the car's mid-point. Examining the Charger's interior, we started in the back seat to investigate just how limited seating room might be underneath this low roofline. Inevitably, tall backseat passengers will have to scrunch down a little, though moderately tall riders will be just fine. Conclusions
Is the 2014 Dodge Charger a family sedan or hot rod? Could be both. It offers the room, ride comfort and safety features a family requires, with the style and performance the enthusiast driver wants.Â
