The latest version of the Viper drops the Dodge name for its own SRT brand, and has become more refined, comfortable, and easy-to-use. New for 2014, a new TA Special Edition Package for the base model includes an aero kit, carbon fiber trim, orange stitching in the cabin, a two-mode suspension with unique tuning, unique Brembo-brand brakes, lightweight wheels and a carbon fiber brace. A new Anodized Carbon Edition Package for the GTS includes matte-black paint, carbon fiber trim, gloss- and satin-black accents, orange brake calipers, Alcantara interior trim and orange accent stitching. Meanwhile, the electronic stability system gains a Rain mode.

The SRT Viper packs a massive 8.4-liter V-10 engine that makes 640 horsepower and 600 pounds-feet of torque. This rear-wheel-drive exotic sports car comes only with a six-speed manual transmission and is offered in base and GTS trim levels.

The Viper exterior features aggressive styling, carbon fiber and aluminum body panels, a deck-lid spoiler, Xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights with LED daytime running lights, functional air vents in the hood, LED taillights, and available side racing stripes. The cabin of the 2014 SRT Viper is well-designed, well-upholstered, and quite comfortable, considering the Viper's rather hardcore focus on performance.
