New Jeep Renegade at Kolosso near Green Bay, WI
For 2015, Jeep® will be offering its first-ever small SUV known as the Renegade, which comes in two models: Trailhawk and Latitude. The 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk offers best-in-class 4x4 capabilities, but both models win with off-road driving. Jeep® has equipped both Trailhawk and Latitude with a Selec-Terrain® system so you can drive your Renegade in all conditions, such as snow, mud, and sand. The 2015 Jeep Renegade may look like your typical Jeep® SUV, but it is much more since it shares a modified platform with the Fiat 500L.
Powering the Jeep Renegade
The 2015 Jeep Renegade has two available engines: a turbocharged 1.4-liter, four-cylinder, 160-horsepower engine and a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder, 184-horespower engine. Additionally, there are two available engines: a six-speed manual transmission for the turbo engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission for the other engine, which the latter offers best-in-class fuel economy. The Jeep Active Drive system offers Renegade owners an available AWD system with a low mode in the Trailhawk model so you can drive easier on the toughest terrains. The standard Selec-Terrain® system allows drivers to navigate easily in designated terrains through four gears: automatic, snow, sand, and mud. The Trailhawk model offers a fifth mode for rocky terrain.
The 2015 Renegade's Design
Jeep® is calling the distinctive design of the 2015 Jeep Renegade "Tek-Tonic." These design features include structural elements, various colors, soft materials, and special storage solutions for all of your adventure gear. Jeep® designed the renegade with a rugged look so you won't be afraid to play rugged. You can opt for a 5- or 6.5-inch Uconnect Touchscreen System that provides you with multiple features, such as connecting your phone via Bluetooth, streaming music, weather updates, traffic updates, navigation through a built-in GPS, and much more. The structure of the 2015 Jeep Renegade is being referred to as the new small-wide 4x4. It is 1.8 inches shorter than Buick Encore and 5 inches longer than the Honda Fit. The 2015 Jeep Renegade also features a My Sky open-air sunroof system with dual panels. You can remove the panels manually or upgrade to a premium electronic tilt and slide system.
