New plants will be built in Brazil and China, and will only increase international sales. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is happy about the planned expansion, as they have been looking to make their vehicles more available throughout the globe.

The Jeep Vehicles' Multiple Elements

2014 was a breakthrough for the Jeep brand, on top of 2013's record sales. Although the Grand Cherokee, Cherokee and the Wrangler were the leaders, all models had sales increases during 2014. Mark Manley, President and CEO of the Jeep brand, has talked about the sales increase, saying this was the fifth consecutive year that sales have risen, and that he's satisfied. What may have helped with the sales increases is that many 4x4 systems are available for all-weather capability. Rock- and Command-Trac help the driver drive over rocks and provide the SUV with extra traction. Freedom Drives I and II help the driver better navigate hydroplaning and tough terrain problems.

The Jeep Renegade, a compact SUV manufactured in Italy, is new for 2015, and it is predicted that this model will only increase Jeep sales. The Renegade is geared towards younger drivers, such as teenagers, and has already experienced significant sales in Europe by being sold over 9,000 times in just the last two months of 2014. The Jeep brand makers have obviously come up with a strategy to keep sales going strong for years, as the Jeep brand has ideal vehicles for people who like to travel, explore the outdoors and the natural elements.
